Politicians should not be businessman , says Diggi Raja pointing a finger at YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy dual role as a politician and also a businessman . However if his advise is seriousluy taken almost 90 percent of Congress MLAs , Minsiters and party workers should resign or give up businesses . Even the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's family entered into media and infrastructure business after he became CM.
AICC points man who was in Hyderabad yesterday cautioned that politicians with business interests will make mistakes and deviate from public service and focus on business and personal growth at every junction of public life.Advising all congressmen to give up their business interests and hand them over to their kith and kin Diggy Raja said he did not have any businesses and hence none could level any charge against him.
But according to recent police reports, nearly 35 percent of Congress MLA's and MPs ( five ministers also) are in liquor business, another 40 percent are in infrastructure and real estate, others are all cotractors and owning educational institutions. In case of TDP, TRS , BJP, CPI and CPM also same holds good but varied in degrees .
Jagan business interests in power, Medicare, IT, infrastructure and media which had sky rocketed during his father and CM YSR period in office had attracted CBI probe and put him in jail, he said.
