YSRCP is yet to pick up pace in Telangana while it is facing a tough time in Coastal Andhra with heavy infighting. Sources say that if there is any region where the party has turned really strong, it is Rayalaseema and the main reason being Reddy vote bank.

 

This vote bank which rested with Congress party for the last five decades is seen to be drifting slowly towards Jagan Mohan Reddy as there is no strong leader from the community in Congress who can keep this vote bank intact.

 

Even CM Kiran has more or less failed on this front. Sources say that once RT is formed, then the Reddy’s of Ananthapur and Kurnool will have to invariably support a resurgent Congress in the newly formed state which is expected to cut Jagan’s political dreams of ruling a big state like AP.
