The opposition party of Andhra Pradesh TDP is spreading rumors that the current government is planning to shift the capital from Amravati to some other city. Agriculture minister K Kanna Babu said that the opposition party is misleading people. The government of YS jagan Mohan has not made any announcements about shifting the capital of the state from Amravati.


In fact the government has no intentions of shifting the capital. At the same time Kanna Babu also pointed out the positive steps that the government has taken.Addressing media on Thursday he said that the government had started some departments in Guntur and Viyjayawada. At the same time they had set up the secretariat at Velagapudi.


He alleged that the TDP government has misappropriated funds meant for subsidies on other purposes before the general election. He also spoke about the price stabilization fund with 3000 crore that the government had allocated. 


The government planned to encourage raising of horticulture crops in 21 lakh acres from 17 lakh acres. Hence according to Kanna Babu the current government was doiong everything in its power for the development and well being of the state.
