Presently unhappy customers of Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank on Thursday protested outside the Bharatiya Janata Party's office in Nariman Point, mumbai and demanded the government to return their money. Meanwhile after PMC Bank's violations came to the fore, the Reserve Bank of india had imposed restrictions on the bank's activities and cash withdrawals for six months. Perhaps each account holder in the bank has been allowed to withdraw an amount of Rs 25,000 during the period.

Reportedly increasing the amount of withdrawal has had no effect on angry customers of the bank, who protested outside the BJP office ahead of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's press conference. A number of protestors who were gathered outside BJP's mumbai office on Thursday and we want our money back”. Meanwhile Krishna, a PMC Bank customer, said, "I don't know what they're doing, don't care what they're doing, I want my money back. I won't be able to earn again whatever I've put in the bank."



Moreover some of the people gathered their slammed the authorities for imposing restrictions on cash withdrawal as it consists of their lifetime savings. Perhaps others who joined the protest were not happy with the relaxed withdrawal limit and want the government to completely lift restrictions on withdrawal limit.
