The citizenship amendment act (CAA), the karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on thursday called for peace and sought-after alimony among the Muslim community. Yeddyurappa said "I appeal to the minority Muslim brothers, this law will not affect you in any way. Protecting your interest is our responsibility. Kindly cooperate, maintain peace and order". When reporters report here, he said, "We have not given any permission to favor or against the law, and section 144 (prohibitory orders) were in place. Peace and police are monitoring things ".
