Many knew that the actor went to New York in order to treat his high-grade Neuroendocrine cancer. Earlier, Irrfan revealed this sad news in 2017 and fans were left devastated. When he was informed about his tumour, Irrfan was shooting for a web series. However, he left midway in order to rush to New York for the treatment, which he took for nearly 9 months. Further irrfan khan tells his fans on social media that his disease is very rare and the possibility of doubt in its treatment is also high. With not so good updates on his health, the recent update that we hear is, Irrfan is taking a whopping break for nearly 8 months. The actor who was doing Angrezi Medium is now taking a gap as per doctors advice.
Apparently the film stopped abruptly and as per the doctors, the actor will not do any film at least in the near future. His health has been deteriorating and it is indeed bad news. irrfan khan has a decent number of a fanbase for his marvellous performances in films like 'Paan Singh Tomar', 'Hindi Medium', 'Life of Pie', 'Piku' and 'The Lunch Box'.
