Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Admi party had registered a sensational comeback in the recently held delhi assembly Elections. It has cruised to Power for the third time in a row decimating the Opposition to just 10% seats. Meanwhile, the party buoyed by the success is now harboring National Ambitions. The party is now looking to expand in the other states as well. Sources say that telangana is their top priority.
According to reports, some AAP telangana leaders met delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal and requested him to campaign for the upcoming Greater hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections in the city. The party has already won in the Ambedkar nagar ward in adilabad Municipality in telangana municipal polls 2020.
Meanwhile, AAP is planning a nationwide campaign from february 23 to march 23 with an intention to connect with people from across the nation. telangana AAP will also take up a membership drive. As of now, there is no opposition for kcr in Telangana. It has to be seen if the Aam Admi party will able to fit in the role. But then, without proper leadership in the state, the party's efforts to expand in telangana may prove to be futile.
