Corona menace is increasing for India. indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has declared that a total of 283 individuals have been confirmed positive among suspected cases and contacts of known positive cases. The government of india had decided to deal with hoarding and over-pricing of sanitizers and masks with an iron fist.
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs issued a notification that Retail prices of hand sanitizers have been capped at ₹100 for a 200 ml bottle. The prices of surgical masks (3 ply) and non-woven masks also were capped at ₹10 and ₹8 respectively. Anything more than that will be deemed illegal.
On the other side, the country is gearing up for Janatha Curfew tomorrow from 7 AM to 9 PM. All the non-essential transport is being stopped. Trains were canceled and hyderabad Metro will also stop its operations. In telangana, the curfew was extended for 24 hours. telangana will observe 24 hours from 6 AM on march 22nd to 6 AM on 23rd. The state had registered 21 cases so far while andhra pradesh has three so far. It has to be seen if the curfew will bring things to control.
