Currently yogi Adithyanath government is busy tracing people who have come to the state from areas affected by the novel coronavirus, like dubai, maharashtra, delhi, kerala etc. And the UP government has found an ingenious way to do it. The cm office is getting in touch with village pradhans across the state to collect the information on anyone who might have come from outside with the last two weeks.

 

Additional Chief Secretary Avaneesh Kumar Awasthi told that 10,000 pradhans were called up from chief minister Helpline 1076 and information was taken from them regarding people who have come from outside in the last two weeks so that checking and monitoring of suspects can be done.The helpline 1076 is available to any resident of the state who might want to file a health-related complaint.

 

Besides, the chief minister has also instructed to make a district control room in every district. Avaneesh Kumar Awasthi said that all MLAs, MLCs, ministers will give money from their funds for the medical facilities in the state. chief minister yogi adityanath has also directed to carry out a cleanliness drive in the entire state during the lockdown. Principal Secretary health amit mohan prasad said that so far, 38 cases of novel coronavirus have been reported in Uttar Pradesh. Over 6,000 isolation beds have been identified in the state. An appeal has made to those people who have returned from other states and provinces that they must stay at their homes for 15 days. If a person shows any symptoms related to novel coronavirus during home quarantine, then he can call at the helpline number 18001805145 issued by the Department of Health.
