As per report Board of Control for cricket in india (BCCI) president sourav ganguly has spoken about how he is dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic that has sent the country into a 21-day lockdown and brought the world to a standstill. The coronavirus has spread to over 170 countries and led to more than 21,000 faltalities globally. In india, more than 600 cases have been confirmed positive while 15 people have died due to the virus. In an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus, the government had announced a complete lockdown in the country for at least april 14.

The virus has also led to suspension of nearly every sporting event in the world. IPL 2020, that was scheduled to begin from march 29, has also been deferred until april 15. Former india captain sourav ganguly has said he is enjoying his stay at home amid the lockdown as he is getting to spend some time with himself, which is a rare case due to all the traveling he does in usual days.

Ganguly said "It has been great to spend time with my family though. Everyone in my family is at home; my daughter sana too. She has no choice but to be at home". Reportedly Yes, the Covid-19 pandemic has made life challenging for everyone. Every day is a challenge. But again, that’s what life is. The streets of kolkata are deserted. There is not a soul on the roads. But that is the case everywhere. Moreover to bide my time I try to handle my social media accounts myself, as much as I can." Another way to spend this time is to maintain a routine and workout everyday. I have a gym at home, so that routine hasn’t changed much. I workout for about an hour or so, whenever I get the time during the day. For five days a week.
