Telangana bhagiratha chief minister kcr is Kalvakuntla Chandra sekhar Rao. It is known to every one. But, his son re-defined his father’s name. He told k stands for ‘Kalva ( canal in Telugu), C means Cheruvu ( telugu-pool) and R means Reservoirs. He posted in twitter, the same. From the day he became cm, he strived his best to do his best to farmers and he though only irrigation facility is the best gift he could give to telangana government.
He dreamed of 1 crore acre fertile land for farmers.This projects involves supplying Godavari, krishna water for irrigation purpose and drinking. It is like a yagna to complete kaleswaram project and kcr did it in very less time compared to other CMs. Today, from Medigadda to Kondapochamma, water is pumped from 82 meters to 618 meters which is inaguarated by KCR.
In twitter, ktr wrote that this water will serve hyderabad city water demands, irrigates 2.85 lakh acres of land where it is the largest lift irrigation project and kcr completed it in only 3 years by managing newly formed state issues on the other hand.
