The government in bihar has done something which gives us the impression that it is caring for its citizen especially those in the lower strata. The State government is distributing free condoms to migrant laborers who are going home after completing 14-day institutional quarantine and those in home quarantine to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
A large chunk of these migrants are uneducated and now in a deep financial mess. Unwanted Pregnancies at this point in time will burden them further. So, the State government has come up with this idea. This should be followed by other Governments as well. Besides providing them with ration and financial help, this is also the need of the hour.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in india has crossed the Two Million mark. According to the Ministry of health and Family Welfare (this morning bulletin), the total number of cases in the country are 2,07,615. In the past 24 hours, the country had witnessed around 9,000 cases. maharashtra alone is contributing about 40% of the daily cases of the country. The cases in both the telugu states are also increasing.
