Independence Celebrations have become very special for two Telugu states. This is the first Independence celebrations after the division of the state. Both Chief Ministers have functioning in a competitive spirit. Telangana Government has decided that flag hoisting takes place from historical Golconda Fort on August 15th. This is the first time that CM of the state hoists National Flag on Golconda Fort. On other hand, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has decided to hoist flag on Kurnool. Due to having no capital city decided, CBN plan this time in Kurnool. As per buzz, Konda Reddy Buruju is the right place for flag hoisting in AP. Kurnool served as the capital of erstwhile Andhra State from October 01st, 1953 to October 31st, 1956. There is a demand from the section of the people of Rayalaseema to make Kurnool as Capital of the state again. AP Government is in thought of raising moral boost of Rayalaseema people by hoisting the flag on Konda Reddy Buruju. CBN was planned to hold each event at one place of the state. He was elected as TDLP leader in Tirupathy, took oath in Vijayawada as Chief Minister and first Cabinet meeting take place in Vizag. Now he selects Kurnool for Independence Day Celebrations.
