The fact that YSRCP is a spent force in Telangana has now become more or less an open fact. At once, it was believed that the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s pro-farmer policies would help Jagan, but now it’s different.
The YSR image hasn’t worked in Andhra recently and hence it looks like the day is not far when YSR’s image would be literally taken off Telangana region. Today on the occasion of Independence Day, unusually just a handful of leaders including district chief Singireddy Bhaskar Reddy had come out and organized flag hoisting.
Immediately leaders like Ganta Susheela attacked the district chief with chappals and started hitting him and tearing his hair. It has to be remembered that though TDP or Congress have suffered rout in TS and AP respectively drastically, there is still some sense of discipline and order.
But for Jagan’s party in TS, the verdict seems to be out with the way things are happening. This seems to be a good opportunity for the TRS and TDP to enter the YSRCP fort and grab a few leaders onto their side unless Jagan takes some strong measures.
