The TDP head Chandrababu Naidu has been going about with his job as part of the Pada Yatra named as ‘Vastunna…Mee Kosam’. Though the first day had phenomenal response, criticism has begun to flow in that this is not really helping the TDP party or its cadres and the impact is minimal.
But it looks like the situation is different across the seven seas. According to sources from USA and other countries where the NRI concentration is high, many Telugu people are happy with the initiative of Chandrababu. They are also staging few processions as a mark of support to Babu.
From a long time, Chandrababu has been a favorite among the educated classes and middle to higher middle segments. If only he can start wooing the mass voters and focus on farmers and other hardline workers then Telugu Desam will have a strong chance to get the power in 2014.
