Cinema is the most powerful and strongest avenue for creating awareness or spreading the word. The penetration of cinema is very high among the masses so a lot can be done through that. But lately, more than treating cinema as cinema, many political groups are using it as a bait for their mileage.  The recent example of ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ has been a big lesson to many filmmakers but here is the problem. Going by the way political parties and groups are indulging and interfering in movie subjects, does it mean there is no more space for political satires or political genre films?  The fundamental essence of cinema is that politics, communities and satires on them have been an integral part of humorous entertainment and they were always taken on lighter vein. But with certain vested groups projecting it as a serious thing and creating ruckus has become a concern.
