APSRTC Governorpet-2 depot has started new bus service one month back from Vijayawada to Tullur via Amaravathy. There are no regular auto services to connect 29 villages under CRDA. Governorpet-2 depot has running 8 metro services from Vijayawada to Tullur through Amaravathy. Adding to that, 4 ordinary Telugu Velugu busses also introduced in this route.
There are huge collections to Route no. 301. Occupancy rate has increased from 5% to 10% to this service. APSRTC is running a Metro service bus per every 5 minutes in this route. This new route cater the requirements of the people and useful to the people to travel. 80% people are using 301 Metro Bus to travel. In general, 4% occupancy is enough to gain more profits for APSRTC.
This new service is gaining 10% revenue in this new route. Vijayawada division has to run more and more services to the new capital region villages. Occupancy rate increased to 2% even for 4 ordinary services. APSRTC has planned to introduce more services to make the profits as per the demand.
