Congressman and former Vijayawada Central MLA, Malladi Vishnu will reportedly joining soon into the YSRCP. Vishnu seems to be disappointed with the fact that Andhra Pradesh people are not at all bothered any more about the Congress inspite of launching new agitations in the new State.
It has to be remembered that in addition to Vishnu, there are many other Congressmen who have always been admirers of YSR. But they couldn’t align themselves with the stand of Jagan because he was only seen as a brash young man.
Jagan has slowly transformed himself
But of late , Jagan has slowly transformed himself as per the best interests of the Party and sources say that now he is a more of an open and inclusive leader. In this regard, Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have given the green signal for Vishnu’s entry into YSRCP.
Vishnu’s entry might impact prospects of Gowtham Reddy who had earlier contested and lost from the seat of Vijayawada Central. But since there is a sizeable Brahmin population in the region of Vijayawada central and more over as Vishnu is a Brahmin, Jagan has decided to take him in. Vishnu was considered close to slain Kapu leader Vangaveeti ranga.
