Right now entire state of Andhra Pradesh has been agitating to get the special status for the state. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naid is consoling people and also trying to grab a positive response from the central Government.
Recently there was a buzz that Niti Ayog is in consideration for special status. But Central Government has made it clear and said that there is no question of granting any special status to any state.
Similarly Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley denied Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s allegations regarding special status for Bihar. He said it was irrelevant as per the 14th Finance Commission for sharing of tax resources between the Centre and the States.
This clear confirmation from the centre has caused huge rage amongst the state. Police are kept in every nook and corner to ensure no riots or protests start all of a sudden. Chandrababu Naidu is still keeping muted response.
