Recently it has become a hotly debated topic in both TRS and Telangana’s political circles over Kavitha's timing to stake claim for her father KCR's legacy. There has been a talk that she is now having hopes to become next CM, once KCR plans retirement anytime soon.
Hence Kavitha is now making news plans and also doing 'right things' to make sure that she fully gets her act right. This comes amid criticism against her over the high expenses incurred for Bathukamma festival celebrations, both in India and abroad.
She has been facing allegations that she is exploiting these celebrations to gain political mileage which is very vital for her, if and when she truly decides to vie for the CM's post some day. Hence she has started some development programmes in her constituency.
Once she strongly criticized the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, launched by Prime Minister Modi one year back. But now, surprisingly, she is taking up many programmes under its purview. The Yojana envisages promoting cultural, social, development and promoting mobilization among villagers.
