People of Andhra Pradesh and Telenagana have to be careful here after as the wearing of helmets are going to be compulsory for two wheeler riders. The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has decided to make wearing of helmets compulsory for two-wheeler riders from 1st of January. 


It has to be noted that Supreme Court already issued an order of wearing helmets by two wheeler riders. The neighbouring state Tamil Nadu also follows the rule of 'Compulsory Helmet'. Andhra Pradesh Government initially decided to implement this rule from 1st of November. 


But now they have decided to provide some relaxations and this rule becomes compulsory from 1st of January. The helmets should have ISI mark and it should be strong enough. This decision was taken in the cabinet yesterday. A decision was also taken to establish an Urdu University. 


A satellite study centre for Moulana Azad Skill Development Training Institute at Kadapa is also confirmed. The government also decided to pay a sum of Rs.1000 per quintal for green gram and black gram
