Now Airtel has announced special schemes to help customers who are affected by Chennai. The company's services has been disrupted due to power failure. Local authorities are working to restore them.
In a press statement, Airtel said, "The rains and floods in Chennai has disrupted the normal life. People are struggling and as a small gesture from our side, Airtel has announced the measures to facilitate communication between Airtel customers and their loved ones." So with this every one will have Auto approval of 30 Rupees credit to all pre-paid customers.
This will be adjusted later when people return back to their normal lives. The company also promised free talk time for Airtel to Airtel and this is for two days. At the same time, the post paid and fixed line customers will be provided extended time for payment.
