Terrorism has shown its horns once again as explosives have blasted in Guwahati. It is just another Saturday for people of Guwahati until the explosion happened. Sources say the explosion took place in Guwahati's Fancy Bazaar area in Assam.
That area is said to be the heart of Guwahati and it is one of the popular places. Hindi speaking community is found in large number. As per reports the explosive was placed near garbage dump. But another report said there has been twin explosions.
The blasts has shocked the people as it is one of the crowded areas. From current status we hear that two people were injured in the twin explosion. There has been no deaths.
This blast assume significance as it comes before elections next year. A witness said that the explosive was kept near garbage dump close to temple. No one noticed that as the area is one of the centre parts in Guwahati. The sudden blast has shocked everyone around. Two passers by were injured.
