The famous Downtown hotel in Dubai faced fire accident on New year's eve. The 63 storey luxury hotel in the city centre got trapped in a fire mishap. Immediately all the persons in the tower were evacuated. A report said that 16 people were injured in this accident and thankfully no lives were lost.
A report said that the accident happened as fireworks show took place at the Burj Khalifa tower nearby, the world's tallest building and an iconic symbol of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Immediately the residents and inmates took images. But a newly wedded couple took a selfie before the burning hotel and the couple was thrashed on social media.
Everyone said that as the most inappropriate selfie ever and few said pictures like these say that people are stupid. Initially the fire started on the lower floor, but as none of them witnessed, it spread to the upper storeys. Another source said that due to this fire accident there was even some stampede due to overcrowding.
