Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is reportedly to
visit AP’s new capital city of Amaravati once again soon for meeting
AP’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Well no such invitation was
extended by AP government t is time.
Sources
say that KCR is planning to visit Amaravati for a purpose and hence he
is reportedly planning to visit Andhra on his own. The main reason being
that KCR wants to meet Chandrababu Naidu to resolve the water sharing
disputes between the states of Telangana and AP.
Both
the states are currently locked in a battle over the sharing of Krishna
and Godavari river waters after United AP was bifurcated into two
states in the year 2014. The CM of Telangana will reportedly meet Naidu
once the ongoing Janmabhoomi programme concludes by next week.
The AP government has recently launched Janmabhoomi programme that is expected go on until January 10.
Sources say that KCR is planning to meet Babu before Sankranthi. KCR's
one more visit is now becoming a subject of debate because it comes
just days before the GHMC elections.
