Recently Madras High Court issued an order that everyone must follow certain dress code and conduct while entering temple. With respect to that, Females are asked to wear Sarees and Chudidars with dupattas. The dress code was made compulsory as prescribed by Madras High Court.


This news became a sensation all over. There was both support and as well as hatred for this rule. Now in this case, Chennai Kabaleeshwarar temple saw some group of tourists from France. The tourists also include women. However everyone were seen draped in dhotis.


The tourists went shopping nearby and they got dhoti to wear above the Jeans. One of the tourist Teresa Palmer said, "I love this. I have huge respect for the local culture. I love dhoti." Another visitor said, "I already bought new sarees to cover T shirt, jeans and kurtas.


They can be a little uneasy. But if there is an option, why not to do it ?" The Madras High Court's November order prescribes pyjamas, pants or dhotis with shirts for men and saris, chudidar suits with shawls or stoles for women.
