There has been a small change in the trains running across Kanpur. There would be lots of changes in the direction and this comes into effect from today. This changes in direction will happen till 29th of February. The reason for this changes is persisting fog.


The railway department has made all major changes with respect to the dense fog. The Shram Shakti Express and Reverse Shatabdi, both important for the passengers of Kanpur were closed for operation. This will be closed for three days a week.


In an official statement issued by North Central Railway (NCR), they said, "Due to foggy conditions, some of the trains running through NCR will remain non-operational completely till February 29th." These include Sampoorna Kranti Express, Allahabad-Haridwar Express, Agra Intercity Express, Chhapra Express and Ujjaini Express.


The Reverse Shatabdi that travels from Kanpur to Delhi will just be operated for three days a week. Earlier they operated six days a week. Now they will not be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
