No matter how openly the politicians indulge in corruption and keep minting tons of money, no one says a word about it for obvious reasons. The country is getting looted but the common man is always silent. He has his own reasons for that. But what happens when a respectable MP is caught in the case of fraud.
A similar situation seems to have risen in the Nellore district with the Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, his son Gautham Reddy and his younger brother being named in a complaint filed by one contractor Sanath Reddy. The sub contractor has reportedly alleged that after doing the entire work he didn’t get his due payment.
It is heard that whenever Sanath had reminded of the payment, he only got silence from Mekapati and his team. With nothing else to do, Sanath has reportedly filed a case against Mekapati and others. Nobody knows who is right or wrong but an MP’s name being brought into the light so openly is a bit of surprise.
