11 months back, A sixth standard student E.Prabhakaran was drowned in a Swimming pool at an Amusement park. This incident happened when he went on a school excursion. The parents went to Madras High Court seeking compensation. They also said they want an inquiry with respect to the incident.


Justice R.Subbiah heard the case and the petition was filed by D.Easwaran. The hearing came in front of authorities. P.Sanjai Gandhi got instructions from School Education Department. The report said, "Sri Lakshmi High School in Tiruvallur had taken its students to Queens Land Amusement Park on February 21, 2015.


By 2pm, the parents received a phone call from the school teacher stating that their son was admitted in hospital as he had breathing problem. When Eashwaran rushed to hospital it was informed that he died due to drowning.


They took him to the mortuary, where his son's body had been kept." Now Easwaran said that even before postmortem, school management and Local police made a deal and they confirmed that it was an accident.
