Tamil Nadu seems to be the root place for all liquor oriented troubles. Already there has been huge buzz with respect to TASMAC shops. Everyone wants to get rid of the liquor. At the same time, few people indulge in bringing low price liquor from Pondicherry and Goa.

Recently, The Prohibition Enforcement Wing (PEW) police have arrested 7 members for smuggling Indian-made foreign liquors (IMFL) from Goa to Tamil Nadu. Police have identified the accused as, P.Saravanan of Shevapet, K.Sathish and T.Babu of Ponnamaapet, V.Jayanthi, R.Mathammal, S.Vijaya, and V.Kamala of Ammapet in Salem city.

Among the seven, four of them were women. Police Officials said they got a tip-off and with respect to that, they conducted checking on the passengers belongings who came on Chennai-Mangalore express train.
