The ruling TRS party clearly seems to dominate other parties with more publicity. With respect to GHMC elections, there has been a huge publicity blitz in every nook and corner of Hyderabad. The nominations ended on January 17th.
Now TRS leadership faces trouble as there have been 888 nominations for 150 GHMC seats. The rest 730 candidates are just bugging TRS leadership to give a ticket. Now this has created huge trouble and most of the party leaders are refraining from mobile phones and their native places.
TRS is confident of grabbing at least 100 seats and now they worry that rebels may play spoilsport with respect to current situation. They also have a feat that there might be breakage of votes if rebels refuse to withdraw all their nominations. The Opposition parties are enjoying this.
They clearly knew the defect inside the party will affect them by a huge margin. The leaders who promised tickets for all candidates are now not in a position to satisfy all the leaders with tickets. An opposite party leader said, "TRS has just fallen in his own trap."
