Chandrababu's Sankranti gift seems to be his Republic Day sorrow. He gave a gift of all essential commodities for the poor people this Sankranti. But now this has been a big trouble for him. The reason is the bags have caused a massive loss of Rs.47 Crores.

He gave a bag to poor people which had, Jaggery, Dal, Wheat, Flour, Ghee, Palm Oil, Bengal Gram, etc. On the whole, 1.5 Crore bags were prepared based on number of Ration cards in the state. The bags were distributed to all people based on ration cards from 7th of January to 14th of January.

And now Sankrantis over, and even a week has passed away. The biggest worry is still there are 15 Lakh undistributed bags and each bag is worth Rs.275. So the total cost of these bags is said to be around Rs.47.45 Crores. The authorities are worried what to do with these undistributed bags. They initially planned to keep for sale.

But who will buy what was given free to them ? If they are given for free, then questions will be thrown about the efficiency of Chandrababu. They can't keep it in godown, as the material will be spoiled. The clock is ticking and the problem is bigger.
