After lots of personal disputes between Vijayadharani and EVKS Ilangovan, it is made official that Vijayadharani will no longer be the female Congress president. She has been sacked and replaced by M.Jhansi Rani. She is grand daughter of A.S.Ponnammal.
AS Ponnammal is the former seven-time Congress MLA from Dindigul. He passed away recently. An upset Vijayadharani who met media said, "I work round the clock for the development of Congress Party in state of Tamil Nadu. I was sacked due to EVKS Elangovan.
It was Elangovan who should be sacked. Instead they took action against me. I am the victim and I am sacked. It is a very strange development in Congress. Definitely, Sonia Gandhi would not have taken such a decision. I will soon meet Sonia Gandhi in Delhi."
Mr.Elangovan refused to comment on this matter and he also said he will not speak anything on Vijayadharani's remarks. It has to be noted that Rahul Gandhi who recently visited Tamil Nadu ensured that Congress will meet the upcoming Assembly elections with EVKS Elangovan spearheading the party.
