Chandrababu Naidu who is the chief of TDP and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has decided to live under the shadow of NTR. But still now he has never created a legacy of his own. Now he started a scheme named, 'Chandranna Sankranthi Kanuka' for the people below the poverty line.
Food items were given for the people during the eve of Sankranti in this scheme. This year was the second year for the scheme. There has been around 350 Crores invested for this particular scheme and families were provided with jaggery, rice, dhal and ghee. But the quality was said to be so poor.
Most of them don't even bought it and there has been a huge loss. An inside source said, low quality was provided as the state was in a financial crisis. So what is the need to come out with such schemes when the finance is not good ?
Instead the amount could have been used for some other purpose. Some small scale industry would have generated employment to job seekers.
