Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandraababu Naidu seems to be on a rescue mission. He saves his party MP Narsaraopet Rayapati Sambasiva Rao who was in connection with misappropriation of funds in Polavaram works.
During Congress Regime, Rayapati's company Transtroy has bagged a sum of Rs.8000 Crores contract for construction of Polavaram Project. But the company never executed any major works.
But they faced more problems as they got advance of Rs.1000 Crores and the whole state was under turmoil with respect to bifurcation. At the same time, Rayapati's company was blacklisted for misappropriating the funds without even starting the Polavaram project.
As Rayapati is now with TDP he has sought help of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. So in order to save Rayapati, Naidu is looking for a sub contractor to resume all the works and the irregularities get cleaned up. But before that, all other parties are rushing to make Rayapati a criminal. Chandrababu Naidu is right now busy with GHMC polls.
