Telugu Desam Party Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu always rests his thoughts on the new capital city Amaravati. He already grabbed lands from farmers and he started the construction. As everything was cultivated lands, water started to ooze out after 4 feet of digging.

We already provided a complete report on that. People too started to build more dreams with respect to the upcoming capital city. But now there has been a threat. Irrigation experts have warned the people about an impending threat to their buildings in the new capital city in the event of heavy rains and floods to Krishna River.

As per retired irrigation engineer and United Nations consultant, Mr.T.Hanumantha Rao, "The river poses a huge threat to the capital city which is right now in flood zone. Apart from the Krishna river, the floods to Kondaveeti Vaagu would pose greater danger to the constructions in the capital.

The Government must realize it before building Multi-storied buildings in the core zone. The first two floors should not be allocated either for residential purposes or commercial purposes."
