More number of Police and paramilitary forces were called to Andhra Pradesh as violence has completely shattered Tuni town in East Godavari district. Police immediately imposed orders to control the protesters and they beefed up security to prevent any mishap.


Senior Police officials which include DGP (Law and Order) went to the spot to review the situation. RP Thakur personally went to the spot to review the situation. Police started investigations with respect to the violence which happened on Sunday.


Two Police stations and more than 25 Vehicles were torched. Fifteen policemen and 6 railway employees were injured during this violence. Officials asked to screen the video footage to identify the miscreants who torched train and Police stations. They will be arrested soon.


Their images were sent to every station in Andhra. Personnel of Andhra Pradesh special police, central reserve police force (CRPF), rapid action force and Indo-Tibetan border police (ITBP) have been deployed in Tuni and surrounding places. A report said more than 5000 security personnel were deployed in Tuni.
