Elections for GHMC completed yesterday and all parties after intense campaigning and analysing the voting trend are keeping their fingers crossed.
All channels conduced exit polls the moment polling ended. According to the exit poll surveys TRS is expected to sweep elections while Congress party which bifurcated the state to form Telangana will face another crushing defeat virtually getting wiped out.
Two channels predicted around 78-82 seats for the ruling TRS headed by CM KCR while AARRA predicted 81-85 seats and TV 5 predicted 77 seats for the party.
KTR after analysing the trend said the party would win around 75-85 seats.This is big win for the party as it didnot contest the 2009 elections.
