A Female Software Engineer was raped by another Software techie in Hyderabad. As per police reports, she met the person through a dating app. The engineer goes by the name Vishnu (28) was arrested by Golconda police for sexual assault.
Golconda Inspector Khaleel Pasha said, "Vishnu who is a software professional came across profile of a 32 year old woman who also works in IT. Both got in touch through a dating app and they were constantly in touch through WhatsApp for past six months. The victim is a software engineer with a Madhapur-based firm, is a resident of a colony in Tolichowki.
Vishnu called the victim for a coffee. They went around few places and he took her to his residence and he served her a soft drink mixed with alcohol. After consuming the soft drink, she fell unconscious and he took advantage of situation and he raped her.
Once she regained the consciousness she realized that she was raped. As she came home next morning, her parents grilled her and she panicked and she revealed that she was sexually abused. Vishnu was arrested and remanded in Judicial custody."
