Okay fellas, Hyderabad is no longer known for IT hub. It will be also known for 'Liquor Hub'. Neighbouring states Kerala and Tamil Nadu are in process of eradicating liquor and a new evolution is happening in Hyderabad. The liquor sales has been one of the major attraction in Hyderabad.
Suresh Reddy who is proprietor of Hyderabad Wine Mart in Jubilee Hills said, "Most of our clients reside in Jubilee Hills. People in these areas are already to spend money lavishly to drink expensive brands of liquor. Most of them don't prefer to go to a local retail outlet.
We are planning to open new branches in Madhapur and a few other locations near the IT corridor and these stores will be equipped with a live kitchen. So that customers can themselves buy starters and other dishes."
Divya who is an IT Professional said, "I moved to Hyderabad one year back. The city never had any wine shops then. But now there has been a wine shop for every 500 metres and I am scared to travel alone as most of the people are found in inebriated condition."
