A man stabbed a 24 year old girl on her throat as she rejected his proposal. This shocking incident took place in Perumugai Village at Vellore. The victim was identified as Saraswathi.
As soon as she was stabbed, she was admitted to Christian Medical College Hospital and she was said to be out of danger. The person who stabbed her was named as Babu (28). It was said that Babu was in love with the girl and she was not ready to reciprocate the love.
This caused rage and Babu was abusing the girl and finally took a sharp weapon and stabbed on her throat. The girl immediately screamed for help and passers by and neighbours rushed to save the girl. The girl was bleeding fast and Babu immediately fled the scene.
She was immediately taken to CMC hospital and doctors provided immediate treatment. Sathuvachari police registered a case and they are looking for Babu right now. A manhunt was organized in order to bring him down.
