Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha has announced lots of concessions for Government employees. This also includes hike in assistance under Family Welfare Fund. The pension amount is also increased for nutritious meal workers.
Ms.Jayalalitha also said that if the Government employyes die in harness, the relief fund will be increased up to Rs.3 Lakhs from the current 1.5 Lakhs. There were lots of request from various associations regarding this increase in relief fund. And the contribution from employees will be Rs.60.
Ms.Jayalalitha said that Government employees has made various demands and she is in discussion with various ministers. She said, "My Government has decided to provide various concessions. Each and every demand will be met after making discussions with authorities.
An appropriate decision will be taken based on the report of the panel. Those who were appointed under compassionate grounds will get all benefits only after regularization. For posts that need relaxation in norms, nod of TNPSC would be obtained and government orders would be issued relaxing norms.
