Right after the the GHMC elections in which KCR's ruling TRS government crushed entire opposition, T-TDP felt the tremours when many of its MLAs ditched the party and joined TRS.With TDP virtually getting wiped in the state and becoming non entity, many expected BJP too ditch it in the state and enter into alliance with TRS.
TDP and BJP remained silent on the issue however state BJP leaders are pressurising central leadership to enter into alliance and enjoy power in the state.
Many analysts however suspect that TRS-BJP entered into tacit understanding much earlier than GHMC elections and that was the reason why center announced the housing projects and Smart Cities just before the crucial GHMC.
Many say had it come earlier, TDP-BJP comine would have benefited in the GHMC elections.
