In a shocking incident, around 3 Kilos of gold was looted from Andhra Bank. A burglary case has been registered and police are making their investigations. When an Auditing was done by Cyberabad police regarding the security at 1400 banks and ATM centres, the police revealed that more more than 75 per cent of the facilities do not follow fool-proof security measures.

After verifying records of mortgaged gold, Andhra Bank officials informed Ghatkesar police that gold items weighing 3 Kilos were stolen by burglars. Police meanwhile has asked the bank staff to verify and come back with the right numbers.

Police are also looking into the burglar alarm as why it never worked when the accused broke into bank by cutting the ventilator grill. Police also suspect that there is also a chance that some one inside the bank itself has switched of the alarm before they left the bank.

The burglar alarms in most of the banks have the feature of dispatching alert messages to bank staff and police whenever there is security breach. But Andhra Bank never has such facility and things look suspicious.
