Gambling has been increased in Hyderabad. More number of clubs are organizing the gambling and they do it without knowledge of Police men. Few just keep them shut by offering them bribe for a huge price.
Now Special Operation Teams were informed about the gambling hot spots and they conducted raids in two gambling dens in the City. During this raid, they arrested 16 persons. They also took five of them in judicial custody. Most of them were involved in card gambling.
Cops also seized Rs.19400 and five mobile phones from the possession of the gamblers. In the second incident, Police arrested a three card gambling racket in a house at Pahadisharif. This time Police arrested around eleven people and seized Rs.37290 as cash along with ten mobile phones.
They were taken into remand and the property which was seized was handed over to local police station for further investigation. The local police have promised that all inquiries will take place in a legal way and they will be thrown behind bars.
