International Wrestler Dalip Singh Rana who is fondly called as 'The Great Khali' was admitted in Max Hospital at Dehradun as he got injured badly as he was involved in a competition at Haldwani. Khali who is 44 years old gained more fame from WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) arena.
He was airlifted to Dehradun as per advice of Haldwani doctors. Dr.AK Singh treated him and he said, "The injuries are high. But now his condition is stable and all his vital organs are working properly.
But he must take good rest for at least 2 weeks. Right now he is suffering from edema which is swelling of the brain. This can get serious if he never takes treatment in right manner."He got severe injuries on forehead as he took part in ‘The Great Khali Returns’ show at Gaulapar International Cricket stadium.
As per sources, he was attacked by three contestants, Brody, Mike Knox and Apollo Leon. They attacked him with chairs. Khali was an officer with the Punjab state police before he became a professional wrestler.
