It is not clear whether Modi wants to actually help Andhra Pradesh
or is he averse to offer any assistance from the bottom of his heart.
One thing is clear, that is there is intentional negligence towards the
state which is recovering very unfairly due to bifurcation.
The
third budget which was presented by the Narendra Modi government has
once again disappointed the state of Andhra Pradesh. Union Finance
Minister, Arun Jaitley has made very few allocations to the state.
This
will no doubt slow down several key projects such as Polavaram, Metro
Rail Project while there is Zero allocations to Amaravathi, proposed
AIIMS in Mangalagiri and a dismal 3 Lakhs to the Vishakapatnam Metro.
In
a way, BJP is competing with Congress in doing record injustice to the
state. There is no talk of special status, special package, compensating
the revenue deficit for AP and so on and so forth. This can be
described as Brand Modi injustice to the state!
