At Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam, steps are taken to fix cameras in and around the temple to safeguard everyone and God’s costliest ornaments. The temple authorities are raising huge amount for the fixing of cameras in the temple campus. The officials are planning to fix around 2000 cameras in the temple.
The TTD Board only has got the idea to increase the fixing of cameras in the temple since 2013. Around 300 cameras were fixed successfully and the officials are planning to fix cameras at busy areas like Kalayanakatta, Annadana Complex, the four mada streets, two ghat roads and near the bus stand.
Approximately around 62 crores is the estimated budget for the installation and many accompanied to contribute cameras and they have also asked for tax benefits. The TTD is not ready to give exemptions and hence the work is delayed.
Usually any contribution to the temple will be given tax benefit under sec 80 (G), but no allowance for cameras. The TTD Officials have planned to get on their own and they need cameras with latest updates and applications.
