Election dates were announced yesterday for Tamil Nadu and four other states. The election will take place on May 16th and results will be announced on May 19th. Election Commission announced this yesterday and they also ensured that all department come under control of the Election commission.
They also demanded to remove all hoardings and banners in favour of the ruling party. As we all knew, ADMK party is known for watermarking each and every aspect with stickers. So the Government employees had a hard time in removing all those stickers and barricades.
For the past five years, ADMK's atrocity was so huge. You can see faces of Jayalalitha in every nook and corner of street. There is no place or street without a sticker or banner with Jayalalitha face. And in Government offices, most of the room are filled with Jayalalitha images.
Even when she was arrested and sent behind bars, her images were not removed. In fact, O.Paneer Selvam who was seen as acting CM refrained from using Chief Minister's room. 'Sticker Politics' was initiated by ADMK. And now it has been a headache for all employees to remove those stickers.
