The iconic temple of Lord Venkateswara will remain closed for 14 hours from 8.30 am on Tuesday on account of Solar Eclipse. More than 80,000 devotees have come to the temple on account of Mahasiva Ratiri on Monday.


People from across states have come to the temple on Mahasiva Ratiri the auspicious day for Siva devotees. Every year the Tirumala temple will be closed for the Solar Eclipse. The Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanam Publi Relations Officer Ravi has given the information about the temple closure on account of Solar Eclipse.


Reportedly it was said that around 1.5 Lakhs devotees have worshipped at the Lord Shiva called as Lord Vaayulingeswara in Sri Kalahasti which is 40 kilometers from Tirumala Devastanam. Sri Kalahasti Temple Official has said that the management authority has managed the huge crowd which has gathered at the temple for Mahasiva Ratiri.


Tbe Devastanam has also cancelled Sahasra Kalasabhishekam with respect to this Solar Eclipse. The temple doors will be opened after 10am and regular Poojas will be done as usual.
